Marc J. Leder is the co-founder and co-chief executive officer of Sun Capital Partners, Inc.  For more than 25 years he has been heavily engaged in leveraged buyouts, investment banking, and business operations. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Today a resident of Boca Raton, Florida, he grew up in Long Island, New York.

Prior to the establishment of Sun Capital in 1995, Mr. Leder served as the senior vice president of Lehman Brothers in New York, having started at the company as an analyst in 1985.

He sits on the advisory board of the University of Pennsylvania Huntsman Program and is a member of the boards of directors of the Berggruen Museum in Berlin and the Federal Enforcement Homeland Security Foundation.

The Sun Capital Partners Foundation, has supported more than 275 local charities working toward a diverse array of causes, ranging from veteran’s rights to poverty alleviation.
